Are you noticing a trend yet? I had a ridiculously self-bla day yesterday, which is ironic because if anyone knows the nasty effect that self-doubt has on a person, it is me.
Here is the thing about self anything, it is all self inflicted!
You are going to doubt yourself and your journey, you are going to have unrealistic expectations of what you can achieve in a very short time.
You are going to have to stop that!
I had to learn the hard way that no one on earth is able to make a positive change on how you feel about yourself. Sure, there are people who are great at making you feel awful about yourself, but why do we let them matter in our lives? One negative comment can stick to your soul forever. That one weight comment, body comment, face comment that someone else passes your way will stay with you for as long as you allow it to. Because long after they have forgotten about you, you still hold on to their bad vibes.
So, what can you do? How can you stop beating yourself up about things that don’t exist? How are you going to change the way you love yourself?
Well, that starts with you. You need to make that decision to change the way that YOU feel about YOURSELF.
So, after my mini fat girl meltdown yesterday, I got my insecure little butt into the gym and worked my shoulders like my life depended on it. Because it does, and that chip that I carried around for the longest time, is finally getting lost!
Find that one thing that you can do on a regular basis to change the way you think about yourself.
Repeat positive affirmations on a regular basis. Compliment yourself every morning in the mirror before you even think about facing the day. Tell yourself all the things that you wish someone would say to you.
Be your own best friend!
